We are grateful for your interest in the MSLC and look forward to welcoming you to the MSLC community!  This page provides some additional information about the MSLC as well as resources for students at UIC.

There are so many incredible resources available across campus.  Please take advantage of these wonderful groups, offices, and programs ready to assist students in every way they can.  Please reach out to the MSLC team (mslc@uic.edu) if there is anything we can do to assist you at any time as well.  The MSLC is here for the UIC community!

Join a community
When studying in the MSLC, you are in good company as many peers study here. We encourage students to learn together and meet students in their courses at the MSLC! The MSLC also provides a central location to join Instructor and Teaching Assistant (TA) drop-in hours.

Excel in your courses
The MSLC offers over 600 academic support sessions per week, online and/or in-person to for continued learning in your BIOS, CHEM, MATH, PHYS, and STAT courses! Students who came to seek MSLC academic support, outperformed their peers who do not attend (Year 1 data).

Much of the MSLC daily operations and programming is led by students! The MSLC employs over 100 students each semester across our Ambassador (logistics, front desk) and Peer Learning Assistant (academic support) teams.
