The MSLC is grateful for the talented team of undergraduate students who help lead daily operations (Ambassadors) and academic support programming (Peer Learning Assistants). The student team plays a critical role in establishing the welcoming learning environment and sense of community among visitors in the MSLC.
We will update this page with information about Spring positions toward the end of the Fall semester. Once Spring 2026 details are posted, please use the links below to express your interest in any available positions.

MSLC Ambassador
Our dedicated team of MSLC Ambassadors greet all visitors, help direct visitors to the various academic services provided in the Center, assist with general logistics including the sign in process, provide necessary supplies to visitors, keep center clean through out the day, assure no one is eating, and support staff with any given tasks.
Due to high volume of applicants, we are not able to provide an update to all applicants. Please note we only contact those whose availability and experience meet role expectations.
Peer Learning Assistant - SCIENCE
Science Peer Learning Assistants (PLAs) support student learning in select Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Earth and Environmental Sciences, or Physics courses. PLAs facilitate engaging academic support for students in introductory-level courses through drop-in hours, classroom support, and review sessions.

Peer Learning Assistant - MATH
Math Peer Learning Assistants are undergraduate students with excellent communication and math skills. They support student learning in select Mathematics and Statistics courses by facilitating student engagement in classrooms, in the MSLC, and online.
At this time, we cannot confirm that we will need additional PLAs for Spring 2026.

Math Grader - MSCS Department
The Department of Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science hires undergraduate students as graders for many of its undergraduate Math courses.
